Today was a good day because we were able to help a homeowner in Tacoma. Steve could not access his own house because the tenant living in the house had a restraining order against him. To make matters worse the tenant stopped paying rent and was vandalizing the home. Steve wanted to sell the house but he couldn’t access it, so listing it with a real estate agent was out of the picture.

About 3 weeks ago Steve called us and Viktor met Steve near his house in Tacoma. Pretty quickly Steve realized that we are going to be a good option for him and he decided to sell the house to us. We put Steve in touch with our landlord/tenant attorney and the attorney helped Steve to serve a pay or vacate notice to the tenant and the tenant left the property without damaging it further. Then we worked with First American Title and Escrow to prepare all the closing documents and yesterday we closed on the house. Steve got what he was looking for and we got a great project.

If you have trouble tenants who stopped paying rent you know how stressful this situation can be. The mortgage company doesn’t stop sending you bills just because the tenants are not paying and on top of this usually non-paying tenants also vandalize the house.
